Site updated September 19th, 2020 After 25 years of being in retail in Saluda, we have closed our doors and retired. It's been an unbelievable experience. It's been filled with lots of fun and laughter and friendships, but now it's time for me to carry on and be creative & enjoy family. This unique building has now been sold to a new owner who will transform it in her very own, special way. Let's all wish her the best as she pursues her dreams.

I am very fortunate to have choices at this stage in my life and because of that, I am taking an opportunity to start living my life and having some fun. Selling my building is the first step in going forward and not because " I have to", but because "I want to". 25 years in retail is a long time and most of those years I did it all alone. My passion is gardening, so I hope to spend time doing that and my art. All those years I watched y'all get involved with so many different forms of art with so many great teachers, & I never really got to participate. Fortunately, I was always surrounded by all of you and your creative souls. Now, it's MY turn. I might be here, I might be there and I just don't know what each day will bring, so until then, I will be here doing my thing.
THIS IS HOW WE USED THIS INTERESTING BUILDING FOR 10 YRS.
We are happily located S.O.M.S (Slightly Off Main Street) in Saluda, NC. Saluda sits just at the edge of the Blue Ridge Mountains at 2100 feet. We've been nestled into this tiny mountain town as a retail shop since 1995 & many changes in those years have affected us in positive ways. In 2010 we found ourselves purchasing, renovating & occupying a 100 year old building which was once a house. We added 3 large parking lots and a ramp to include ADA accessibility making your visit here fun & effortless.
